About Us 

'The Dales' Nursing Home has been created by the merging of two large private houses and every effort has been made to create a bright, light homely and comfortable environment.

Set in a quiet residential area of Exeter, in Devon, with an attractive park on the doorstep, it is only a brief walk from bus or train stations and a mere ten minutes from the city centre. There is accommodation for 31 residents (3 doubles and 25 singles - some with en-suite facilities). Approximately one third of our rooms are available for privately funded occupation.

Some rooms have breathtaking views of Haldon and the city. All rooms are wheelchair accessible. When residents are assessed they will be allocated a room appropriate for all their care needs. Each room features a call bell and television. Residents may arrange to have their own telephones in their rooms or can use the Resident's Phone at any time.

Our catering is noted for its variety and quality - we provide a varied menu of good, well prepared nutritious meals with options for those on specialist or restrictive diets.

Two lounges and two dining rooms help maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Residents can, of course, sit in their own rooms at all times and take their meals there. We are glad to provide a meal for visitors as well - so that it is like home. There are gardens to the front and rear where residents enjoy sitting out in when the weather permits. The nearby park is also a favourite place for visits.
