Nursing Care in Exeter
'The Dales' Nursing Home, in the
residential area of Exeter, has always prided itself on being a
recognised centre of nursing excellence. We have a competent and
highly professional nursing team led by our Matron, who in turn has
extensive experience of working with the elderly and infirm.
We have specialist experience in dealing
with: Parkinsons Disease, Strokes, Dementias, Cardiac & Pulmonary Disease, MS and Terminal Care.
We are also part
of the Special Needs scheme organised by the Tissue Viability service
at the Hospital at Wonford, in Exeter.
We are accredited
by Manchester University to train qualified nurses
from abroad. The training programme allows trainees to adapt to
our way of nursing. Many of the RGN's we have trained work in other
local nursing homes in Exeter and Devon, the Royal Devon &
Exeter and Nuffield Hospitals. Our standards of nursing care are
strengthened by always having highly qualified adaptable nurses
training and working as care assistants. We offer a fully
comprehensive nursing service delivered on a 24 hr basis.
